A Job With Purpose

on 20/09/2016

People are awesome!

The applications phase for The Nicest Job in Britain 2016 has proven that once again.

Offering a job where the purpose is clear, yet very simple - helping others to do good - has brought out the best in some wonderful people across the country and around the world.

Applications for the role have now closed, but boy, there were incredible. From immediate campaigning on day one, to national roadshows, to quirky videos, celebrity endorsements, to the most important ingredient - passion.

So thank you to every single applicant, your passion, your energy and your spirit has been amazing to watch. Thank you also to everyone that supported the applicants' entries.

We now have a difficult job of selecting our next National Philanthropy Manager to travel the country and support 40 great charities in 12 months. The shortlist will be announced on Thursday 22nd September and the interviews will take place on Monday 3rd October, with the successful applicant being chosen later that week.

The teams at Nicest Job in Britain, NicestJobs.com & Givergy are extremely excited about what's ahead. With eight finalists, we're sure the contest for The Nicest Job in Britain still has plenty in store for us.
